04 Nights 05 days Sri Lankan Tour

KIA to Pinnnawala Sigiriya Dambulla Distance -145 km Approx 3 hours 30 minutes

Upon Arrival to Colombo International Airport, you will met and assisted by Suri tour Managing director Suranga Silva or one of Suri Tours chauffer guide.

After you will transfer to Sigiriya. On your way you will visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage, Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (PEO), just as the name suggests holds a unique disposition in the ex-situ animal care. It’s success and fame has travelled not just within the country but throughout the world to an extent where Pinnawala is synonymous with the Sri Lankan Elephant. Currently being a home to 93 elephants the concept was actualized by the Sri Lankan government in 1975.

Overnight Stay at Dambulla.

Day 02 : 2017 – Sigiriya / Minneriya national Park ( Eliphant ride or Ayurveda Spa )

Destination : Sigiriya Drive : Approximately 20 minutes / 12 km

After the breakfast you will proceed to Sigiriya.

Sigiriya

Sigiriya is One of Sri Lanka’s most fascinating UNESCO world heritage sites. No matter how often you climb to the summit of this one-time hilltopFortress of the maverick Sinhalese King Kassapa, the pleasure barely diminishes because of the abandon spectacular views at the summit.

After lunch you will proceed to Minneriya National Park.

Minneriya National Park

Minneriya National Park is situated in the north-central plains of Sri Lanka, 20 kilometers from Polonnaruwa. The park encompasses the beautiful Minneriya tank, built by King Mahasena (in 3rd century AD). This tank is an incredible place to observe the elephants that come to bathe and graze on the grasses as well as the huge flocks of birds (cormorants, painted storks, open-bills, Pelicans and many other species of waders) that come to fish in the shallow waters. Thereafter proceed to Minneriya.

Destination : Kandy Approximately: 2 hours 90 km

After breakfast you will proceed to Dambulla cave temple.

Dambulla

Major attractions of Dambulla, include the largest and best preserved cave temple complex and temple paintings of Sri Lanka.
Thereafter we proceed to Kandy via Matale. At Matale you will visit a spice garden where you will see many different types of spices for which Sri Lanka is famous. Just 25 km from the hill capital of Kandy, the Matale spice gardens are among the best on the island. You will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed. A processing and training unit has been set up in the area and farmers are grouped in a cooperative to ensure fair prices and you will also be able to purchase spices.

Matale

Kandy

Kandy is a city in the center of Sri Lanka. It was the last capital of the ancient kings' of Sri Lanka. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which has an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. It is both an administrative and religious center. It is the capital of the Central Province (which encompasses the districts of Kandy, Matale and Nuwara Eliya) and also of Kandy District. Kandy is the home of The Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) one of the most revered places of worship for the Buddhist community of Sri Lanka and Buddhists all around the world. It was declared a world heritage by the UNESCO in 1988.

Gem Museum

After a tour of the botanical Gardens you will visit the Gem Museum in Kandy. The Sri Lankan gem industry has a very long and colorful history. Sri Lanka was affectionately known as Ratna-Dweepa which means Island of Gems. The name is a reflection of its natural wealth. Marco polo wrote that the island had the best sapphires, topazes, amethysts, and other gems in the world.

Kandy - Kandy Botanical Garden/ Giragama Tea Factory / Colombo

Destination : Colombo Approximately : 3 hours 120 km

Kandy Botanical Garden

The Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya is located in close proximity to the city of Kandy. It is renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids. It includes more than 300 varieties of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palms trees. Attached to it is the National Herbarium. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres, and lies 460 meters above sea level. It receives 200 days rain fall annually. The gardens are managed by the Division of National Botanical Gardens of the Department of Agriculture.

Colombo

Colombo is the largest city and former capital of Sri Lanka. It is located on the west coast of the island and adjacent to Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, the capital. Colombo is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern and colonial buildings and ruins. The Colombo Metropolitan area encompassing the districts of Colombo Gampaha and, Katutura, covers an area of 3,694.20 km². and is home to a population of 647,100 persons

Over Night Stay at Colomb

Destination : KIA Colombo Air Port Approximately : 30 minutes 11 km

After Break First you will do Colombi City tour and Transfer to KIA.
